*Note: Teen category entrants must be 18 yrs. old or younger by December 31, 2023. If there are multiple songwriters, they must all adhere to this age requirement.
Songs entered in the Unsigned Only category must also be entered into at least one other category (other than the Unpublished category.) This category is open to anyone who is not signed to, or have a distribution deal with, a major label record company. (Sony BMG, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, EMI, or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or imprints).
Songs entered in the Unpublished category must also be entered into at least one other category (other than the Unsigned Only category). This category will be judged exclusively by established, high-profile music publishers who can help your songwriting career. Songs entered into Unpublished cannot be owned in any part by a music publishing company (entrant must own 100% of the publishing rights to the song).
