One For Jackie, One For Crystal
I load my bullets in the pistol
One for Jackie, one for Crystal
Neither of them knew where babies came from
When he told them, we’re just playing
Now I watch him peeling carrots
While his wife washes the dishes
Sweats dripping from his top lip
She’s off to the store, but not before he leans in for a kiss
But they don’t know that I’m loaded by the back door
gonna come home, scrub his brains off the floor
I thought this all would make me queasy
But the thought of his kids makes it easy
I thought my aim would be shakey
But one for Crystal, one for Jackie
I don’t got the proof to put him in a prison
But I can shoot, I can kill him
He chops the onions and I’m crying
But under wet eyes I feel nothing
He wipes his brow and checks the oven
That’s when I barge in and start cussing
“Look here, you son of a bitch!
I know the shame that those girls hid.”
Bang! Bang!
He falls like bricks
I shoot the ceiling just to throw off the pigs
Old man next door calls in a tip
Said “I heard a few shots, maybe a whole clip”
While the tires crunch gravel in the distance
My legs almost go limp
But I start running from the sirens
I can almost hear them smile
One for Jackie, one for Crystal
One for Jackie, one for Crystal
